Lindy launches 2 Port FireWire ExpressCard Lindy Electronics announced today the launch of its 2 Port FireWire ExpressCard that provides users with a simple and effective way to add two FireWire ports to notebooks equipped with the latest ExpressCard slots. The Lindy FireWire ExpressCard supports data transfer speeds of up to 400Mbps making it ideal for connecting FireWire peripheral devices such as DV camcorders, scanners or external drives. The Card is a 34mm type and is compatible with both PCs and Macs. The range of Lindy ExpressCards includes the 2 Port FireWire Card, 2 Port eSATA II Card, the FireWire & USB 2.0 Combo Card and the Gigabit Ethernet Card. All are ExpressCard/34 type.
