This professional, state-of-the-art video capture ExpressCard allows users to view and store real time megapixel video images from two Camera Link sources on their notebook computers. For example, a customer that has been using the Framelink can simply replace a DLL and use his existing application. The frame grabber features a flow-through pipelined architecture with an intelligent scatter/gather DMA engine providing minimal latency and over 200 Mbytes/s of throughput for fast, efficient use of the ExpressCard bandwidth. A full-featured, intuitive, easy to use software suite, including drivers, application program and an SDK is provided with the card. The software allows for fast integration of the card into demanding machine vision environments. The RoHS compliant FrameLink Express is ideal for integration into a variety of applications including silicon wafer and PCB inspection, machine vision and document scanning, ultrasound, X-ray, CT and MRI. It is also well suited for security applications including police in-car surveillance and biometric identification, as well as military uses including aerial mapping/survey, battlefield imaging and UAV and robotic vision.
