Axesstel will demonstrate the new ExpressCard/34 advanced modem and the entire suite of broadband data and fixed wireless phones and terminal products at GiTex 2008 in Dubai October 19 to 23.

The following Axesstel products that provide Arabic language support will be showcased.

  • PX300 Series CDMA2000 Fixed Wireless Phones offer high quality voice calling, text messaging and high-speed data access.
  • MV100 Series CDMA2000 Wireless Broadband USB Modems provide high-speed access to email, the Internet, data intensive files, multi-media streaming, voice calling and SMS messaging.
  • MV400 Series EV-DO Rev A Gateways provide wireless broadband data access in one easy to use, plug-and-play desktop networking device.

GiTex is the regions largest telecommunications platform and offers a unique opportunity to gain access to network operators in this rapidly growing market, said Clark Hickock, CEO of Axesstel. We are currently working closely with several providers in the Middle East and have already developed products that support the Arabic language. Our customers are thrilled with our understanding of the regions phraseology and the performance of our fixed wireless products has exceeded their expectations.

Hickock added, We plan to build on our success in the region. We are very excited about our presence at GiTex and will be exhibiting some of the most advanced and feature-rich fixed wireless devices available in the marketplace today. Operators are continually looking for high-margin, high-growth opportunities to complement their service offerings. Axesstel's innovative broadband data devices enable them to maximize revenue streams and more effectively compete with dial up, ISDN, DSL and cable service offerings. Our enhanced line of fixed wireless phones and our standard product line offer operators a cost-effective alternative.

Axesstel will display its first UMTS-based product: the EU230 HSUPA ExpressCard/34 for High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) networks. It will also exhibit all of its 3G Wireless Modems and Gateways and a broad range of feature-rich GSM and CDMA fixed wireless phones and terminals that take full advantage of high-quality voice and interoperable data-rich applications afforded by CDMA2000 and GSM technology.
