Creative announces the Sound Blaster X-FiExpressCard

Sound blaster X-FiCreative announced a new Sound Blaster ExpressCard/34 module. The device provides X-Fi-quality audio via its 3.5mm jac, and wil be released in October 2008.

The card comes bundled Wireless Receiver. This can be connected to speakers and receive the music wirelessly from the laptop.

The Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook card comes bundled with one Wireless Receiver and remote control for $269, while individual Wireless Receivers will go for US$79.

The X-Fi uses a proprietary algorithms to boost higherand lower frequencies which are lost in MP3 or similiar formats.

QuickerTech WiFi ExpressCard

QuickerTech WiFi ExpressCardQuickerTek announces the extension of its ExpressCard Apple MacBook Pro products to include a new version which comes with an external antenna - further increasing speed and range. It’s ideal for those MacBook Pro users who do not have internal Apple AirPort wirelss cards. The new ExpressCard with antenna is available for $199.95 USD.

The latest ExpressCard features a powerful external antenna with 5dBi of RF power. Because it is external to the MacBook Pro case, it can be placed for optimum signal strength and speed. The antenna itself easily clips to the MacBook Pro case when open, but is also easy tio transport.

Sonnet announces professional two-port eSATA ExpressCard/34

Sonnet's new device is a Serial ATA (SATA) host controller card, and it features two external SATA (eSATA) interfaces. Using those interfaces, you can attach external hard disk drives that come equipped with eSATA. The devices will be released on October and  cost 300$.

Option today announced that it started shipping a new, stylish and high performance wireless broadband ExpressCard to Vodafone.

ExpressAdaptSynchrotech has introduced the ExpressAdapt, a new CardBus-to-ExpressCard adapter. This is a USB-Mode ExpressCards, but no drivers are needed for Mac or Windows.

It's available for 45$.

Axesstel Launches HSUPA Mini ExpressCard

Axesstel launches the EU230 HSUPA Mini ExpressCard/34 for High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) networks. The EU230 Mini Card enables mobile broadband access to advanced HSUPA networks from any device with ExpressCard/34 slot, USB connector, or Wi-Fi capability (using an additional Smart kit), and allows speeds of up to 7.2 megabits per second (Mbps).

This advanced modem is our first UMTS-based product and is one of the dozen new devices we are launching in 2008, said Clark Hickock, chief executive officer for Axesstel.
